NHL Point Streak Survivor Picks – Nov 1, 2026

By Shawn Stewart

Picks lock at 1:00 PM ET, when the first game drops the puck. A point is a goal or assist in regulation or overtime, and shootout points don’t count. Here are today’s three plays from Last Board.

SAFE: Connor McDavid (EDM @ NYR)
McDavid has a point in all 14 games this season and has about a 90% chance of making it 15 tonight. His anytime-goal price is +130. Edmonton is on the second night of a back-to-back with backup Matt Tomkins in net, so a quiet night is the main way this pick fails. He’s also the most popular pick today, at roughly 35% of pools. Use him if you don’t have a strong alternative. Otherwise, save him for a tougher slate.

FLEX: Tim Stützle (OTT @ ANA)
Stützle gives you about a 70% shot at a point (anytime goal +150) and keeps you off the crowded top tier, with only around 6% ownership. He’s projected on Ottawa’s first line and first power-play unit. Ottawa is on a back-to-back and its starting goalie isn’t confirmed, so check the lineup before lock. He’s a good mid-tier pick that lets you hold your best players for later.

TRAP: Matt Boldy (MIN @ WSH)
Boldy looks good on paper at about 60%, and only around 5% of pools will use him. But he has a point in just 8 of 15 games despite 4.3 shots per game, so he needs to score himself to survive. At +165, the price doesn’t cover that risk. If you want to play this game, Kirill Kaprizov is the safer pick.

Win probabilities are model estimates built from posted anytime-goal odds and this season’s scoring. Ownership figures are estimates, since Splash doesn’t publish pick percentages. Confirm lineups and goalies before lock. Not financial or betting advice.
